About Dawn Myers

Dawn is a seasoned human resources executive with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She has a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies that drive organizational success.

As the owner of DawnHR, she advises business owners and leaders on a wide range of HR issues, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. Dawn is a passionate advocate for the importance of storytelling in leadership. She believes that by sharing her own experiences, insights, and mistakes, she can help other leaders develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

Dawn has been an adjunct instructor at SDSU Global Campus in the HR Certificate Program since 2014. She currently teaches strategic HR certificate courses for Human Capital Institute, and she began teaching HTM Law 250 in January, 2025.
