There is a cost related to providing excellence in education, and financial support from our alumni and industry partners is a key component to our longevity and reach. A 1/3 of the classes and faculty salaries of the Payne School are paid for by private donations. Student activities and trips, guest lectures, and lunches are all made possible through private donations. Even the smallest of donations can have a big impact on a student.
- For $25, sponsor a student to attend a local industry event or luncheon.
- For $100, purchase 1-2 annual student memberships in a professional association.
- For $250, host a luncheon for students to meet with an industry executive in a small group setting.
- For $500, send a student to the annual NSMH National Conference.
- For $1,000, fully sponsor airfare, lodging and registration for a student to attend an industry conference.

Gift of Time: Become a Professor For A Day, Be A Mentor or Assessor!
We invite industry experts to share their knowledge and insight with our HTM and RTM students thru class involvement, mentorship or being an assessor. Please contact HTM/RTM office at 619-594-4964 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Non-monetary donations support our students and student organizations. Particularly useful are those items which can be used for HTM/RTM fundraisers, such as hotel stays, dinners, certificates for events, etc. Business willing to donate their space and/or services to host HTM/RTM events are also of great value in supporting The Payne School of Hospitality. Host a Tour of Your Company
Host a group of students on a tour of your company. Tours lets students explore prospective careers and raises your company and/or industry profile.
