Through a generous gift from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at San Diego State University created the Volunteer and Mentorship Center. The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation set this up as a challenge grant asking other businesses to contribute to make this volunteer and mentorship center a reality. The companies and individuals whose logos are proudly displayed below have risen to this challenge and have contributed to help permanently endow this Center.
The Mentorship Center’s aim is to provide “at-risk” students in the local area with mentoring programs and other activities to help guide them into various school and career roles. The high schools the Mentorship Center targets each have a focus on hospitality, tourism, culinary or event planning curricula. This ties in nicely with SDSU’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
