ON TRIBAL GAMING (SITG)
Description
The Research Center for the Sycuan Institute on Tribal Gaming (SITG) is the portion of the institute that is focused on producing and disseminating unbiased research on tribal gaming issues.
Goals
As a research center, our goals are the following:
- To conduct timely, relevant research in the tribal gaming industry
- To establish life-long relationships with members of the tribal gaming community.
- To be an informational resource for tribal gaming issues.
- To display integrity, ethics, quality, and respect in everything that we do.
Types of Research
- The research center will facilitate the execution of both grant and contract research.
- The research center will seek to fund both applied and basic research.
- The research center will use both endowment money as well as external grants to fund research projects.
