It is through the practical application of classroom learning that students of the L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality & Tourism Management build a solid foundation for their future. We believe in this so strongly that we created The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Student Center for Professional Development and Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Volunteer and Mentorship Center to assist our students with over 2,000 hours of work and volunteer experience during the course of their studies.
A 99% job placement rate for our graduates is largely due to the 67% correlation between in-program internships and the securing of employment upon completion of their degree. It is a challenge to find a hotel or public recreation organization in San Diego County that does not have a Payne School alumni presence, and our reach is growing rapidly on the national and international stage. We are exceedingly grateful to our partners in the hospitality, recreation, and tourism industry for their loyalty and dedication to creating future leadership in our profession.
We invite students and businesses to find out more about the industry presence in our program and what the internship program of the L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality & Tourism Management can mean for you.
